Darla Jade has treated us to two new singles: ‘Say A Word’ and the incredible ‘Imposter Syndrome’. It’s an upbeat electro-pop track that glitters with melody and warm, bouncy production. A wobbly bassline drifts through the bottom of the texture with piercing snare drums propelling forward the club-ready beat. She explains: “I've personally really struggled in the past with ROCD, which is Relationship OCD / Relationship anxiety. I feel it's not talked about enough, so I wanted to bring the topic up through my music.” Her EP, Only The Paranoid Survive, is an impressive six-track body of work that is out now. -Dan Peeke
